Target Audience
Our customer base consists of three main groups from either the gaming/esports or blockchain sectors. Targeting them effectively is a crucial aspect of our marketing strategy. Let's examine these personas to understand how to grab their attention.
Gary, the Geek
Gary is a young, school or college-going individual who loves gaming. He plays video games in his free time but doesn't spend much money on them as he doesn't have an independent source of income. He occasionally buys skins or power-ups but it's a rare occurrence. He considers gaming a hobby and plays Dystopi for pure entertainment. There are many players like Gary in the market and capturing their attention is important for marketing purposes as a large number of free players creates buzz around the game and attracts other personas. We offer them Arena mode, a PVP setting where players compete against each other in groups and their gaming skills are the only determining factor. Fairplay is crucial to us, so NFT items don't give a competitive advantage, only serve as skins.
Ivan, the Investor
Ivan is the opposite of Gary as he doesn't play video games but is a mature businessman with investment capital. He is open to new opportunities and is familiar with cryptocurrencies and NFTs. He is willing to invest in expensive NFTs for a larger profit but doesn't want to play actively. Instead of paying someone to play for him, we offer him the Legion mode, where he can use purchased NFTs without having to spend hours on the computer, though it generates fewer tokens than active modes as compensation for the active players' time and effort. Ivan is also likely to stake valuable NFTs for future returns.
Mike, the Mid-player
Most of our players are like Mike, who is a young adult with a job but enjoys playing in his free time. He discovered that it's possible to make money by playing NFT games and is willing to spend a part of his salary on NFTs for higher rewards. As a mid-player, we offer him multiple options. Our PvE, cooperative, and job modes offer the highest token rewards in proportion to time but require active participation and good performance. The better the player performs against the Gata'aga, the more tokens they can generate at the end of the day. In these game modes the NFTs’ properties add to the players combat attributes (except in job mode which is competitive, so NFTs only influence mining rate), meaning that purchasable items change the gameplay as well. Players like Mike purchase NFTs, even if they're not the priciest because they know it's worth having a higher mining rate for more token rewards, enabling them to reinvest and grow further. Mike is a good guy.
