Economic growth
The economic growth in the game is supported by several parallel mechanisms. We use basic principles of economic forces to create a system that can become stable over time. The base of our deflation mechanism is halving the amount of daily Dyseum token distribution every two years. This means that the amount of daily reward will be half of the previous two years’. This is important because of the probable slowing growth in the number of players over time. We will also gradually increase the cost of Supply packages, so that the amount of Dyseum tokens in circulation will increase in value. In the first two years, packages will experience a 15-15% increase in price, followed by a yearly increase of 8%. A portion of the revenue generated from Supply (and other non-NFT goods) sales will be distributed among Dyseum token stakers. Besides Supplies, various other necessary goods such as food, drinks and ammo will also be available for purchase. Characters' equipment may also require repair: players can pay for repair services in cities or purchase Mobile Repair Station to use in combat zones.
Goods and services
Trading with goods and using services is an integral part of Dystopi. On top of the already mentioned necessary goods like supply or food, further items and services are available that adds extra layers to the game.
Worn-out NFTs can be repaired at Repair Stations (RS) in cities: the repair may be paid for by the tokens earned. If players go on a long mission, they can take a Mobile Repair Station (MRS) with them, which can repair the equipment on the battlefield.. For a couple of profession related tasks, special equipment is required. Examples include trader vehicles and creatures capable of transporting specific materials and raw materials, as well as resources that are only accessible to traders, such as harvestable or manufactured raw materials and nutrients. Guardians have access to several special boosters that enhance their abilities in combat and give them special abilities, and they can also use faster vehicles and creatures while on the job. Thieves can gain special abilities through the purchase of specially designed clothing and can also use vehicles and creatures specialised in theft. Unlike trader vehicles and creatures, thief vehicles and creatures can transport any type of shipment.
