Items and properties (category,rarity)

NFTs can be categorized in different ways, such as race, rarity, caste, or based on the purpose for which the item can be used.

Rarity essentially determines certain properties of NFTs. It has a direct correlation with the number of pieces in a series, so the higher the rarity of the item, the fewer pieces there are in the series. In addition, during minting, when combat properties are set to a random value, rarity describes the range in which the value will be set based on the default value of a mintable NFT:

  • Common: 70-100%

  • Rare: 75-100%

  • Epic: 85-100%

  • Legendary: 95-100%

Between the extremes, a Gaussian bell curve describes the distribution of the probability of mintable values.

Each character can only wear, use, and carry items that are made for their species. Within the species, casts use different items ideally, but this is not limited, everyone assembles their equipment as they like. NFTs can modify the following properties:

  • Physical Damage

  • Tactical Damage

  • Physical Defense

  • Tactical Defense

  • Health (HP)

  • Critical rate

  • Attack speed

  • Hit rate

  • Block rate

  • Zone resist (Acid Rain & Fog)

  • Zone resist (Biological Infection)

  • Zone resist (Freeze)

  • Zone resist (Ultra High Temperature)

  • Special effect

  • GEM slot

  • Supply capacity

  • Durability

  • SET bonus

  • Mining rate

Among these, the last four have significance in the passive game as well, as they not only affect the gameplay but also have an impact on the token reward.

The GEM slots determine how many attribute-enhancing GEMs can be placed in a given item. GEMs are also NFTs, so technically when a GEM merges with an item, a new NFT is created with the sum of their properties (except for the gem slot, which decreases by one), and it is added to the player's wallet.

The original items are then destroyed, meaning they are sent to a null address that is inaccessible to everyone, so they effectively disappear.

The Supply capacity represents the value of NFTs in terms of how much they increase the character's total Supply capacity. Since Supply is necessary for token reward to be counted, the amount of time a character can spend fighting in Legion mode depends on how much Supply capacity they have. There will be NFT series specifically optimized for the passive Legion mode, meaning that their combat attributes are not significantly increased (or not at all), but they provide an exceptional Supply capacity.

Durability also limits the characters: it continuously decreases during combat, although much slower than Timer capacity. If an item's Durability drops below a certain level, the system will signal that it must be repaired before it is completely worn out, as its combat values will start to decrease and its mining rate will eventually fall to zero.

A Set Bonus is a supplementary value that takes effect when a character wears multiple items of the same NFT set at once. In this case, it increases each value of the item by a pre-determined percentage in a specific way. For example, if an item's Set Bonus is (5)7%-(8)10%, then the item's values will increase by 7% when at least 5 items from the set are worn. If the complete set, meaning all 8 items from the series, is worn, then the values will increase by 10%. Of course, the Set Bonus values can differ from these numbers.

Mining Rate is perhaps the most important value in the game, as it is one of the core variables of token reward calculation. The rarer the category an item belongs to the higher its Mining Rate is. There will be NFTs specifically created for the Legion mode, which are not useful in an actual fight, as they do not increase real combat properties, but they have a relatively high Mining rate.
